The Ministry has engaged the Information Services Department to undertake a nationwide Public Education Campaign on Sanitation. This is to educate the public on the need to keep their surroundings clean. The initiative aims at helping the nation to embrace environmental cleanliness and to adopt effective waste disposal practices.

Mobile Cinema vans were used to show environmentally related films and also engaged in talk shows to educate the people on environmental cleanliness.
